Everyday English - may and might V

Everyday English - may and might V
1 more thing to be careful of.
If we talk about a situation that is not real we can't use MAY. When a sentence starts with the conditional IF, we are going to use MIGHT to describe what is possible.

"If I was George I MIGHT look for a different job."
MAY is not possible in this sentence.

"If this was my party I MIGHT NOT HAVE invited Leo. He likes to cause trouble ."
MAY is also not possible in this sentence.
"Leo is a troublemaker when he drinks."
