Asking for MORE information

To ask questions that need more than a YES or NO answer
we use other question words.

For people:
Who~ "Who is your friend?" "Who is your favorite teacher?"
What~ "What is your friend's name?"

For things people own:
Whose~ "Whose book is this?"

For places:
Where~ "Where is your school located?" "Where were you born?"

For things:
What~ "What did you bring today?" "What is that for?"
Which~ "Which shirt should I wear?"

For purpose:
Why~ "Why did Toyota stop making that car?"

Now ask and answer your own questions.
Try 2 questions from each type.
Ask and answer your friends and classmates questions too!!
